Food Assistance
Eligibility
Income - Your income is below 200% of the federal poverty income guideline. You may call the pantry @ 248-960-9975 to get specifics.
While there are no residency restrictions we do encourage seekers of assistance to seek out those pantry services closest to ones home.
Assistance Received
Upon approval, clients will select a schedule in coordination with an intake specialist that will allow the household to shop free of charge twice monthly at the food pantry.
Please note that HHFP distribution of food is not designed to replace the food needs for the households but serve as a supplement to existing food options available to the family. Quantity of food is determined based on household size.
Client eligibility is verified and renewed yearly with intake staff.

To apply for food assistance, please visit the pantry during food distribution hours and bring the following documents:
- Proof of Identification for all members of household: drivers license, state id's, social security cards and or birth certificates for children
- Proof of Income: Pay stubs, unemployment letters, social security letters, bank statements showing income deposits, tax returns
- Proof of Expenses: Rent/mortgage bill, utilities.
