How to Apply
To apply for food assistance, please bring bring your identification to the pantry during food distribution hours:
- Tuesdays: 1 pm - 4 pm
- Thursday: 10 am - 1:30 pm
- Saturday: 11 am - 1:30 pm
You can schedule an appointment on Mondays between Noon and 6:30pm by calling the pantry at (248) 960-9975 to make an appointment.
YOU WILL RECEIVE FOOD THE DATE OF YOUR VISIT!
Eligibility for food is based on the household being in need of emergency food, the income requirements of being at or below 200% of the federal poverty level or participation SNAP, WIC, FDPIR, CFSP or a child receives free/reduced meals at school. Please contact the pantry if you have questions about if you meet the eligibility requirements.
While there are no residency restrictions we do encourage seekers of assistance to seek out those pantry services closest to ones home.
Client eligibility is self-declared, no proof of eligibility is required.
Upon approval, households will be able to shop free of charge twice monthly at the food pantry.
Please note that HHFP distribution of food is not designed to replace the food needs for the households but serve as a supplement to existing food options available to the family. The quantity of food is determined based on household size.
