Santa Shop
Save the Date!
Dear Santa Shop Supporters,
I’m sure you will all agree the last couple years have been uniquely challenging on so many levels.
Thankfully Hospitality House has remained stable and has been able to navigate the pandemic restrictions and continue to support our community!
We are gearing up for the Holidays and that means it’s the time of year for Santa Shop! Unfortunately, with the continuing COVID concerns, we cannot host the in-person Santa Shop festivities again this year. That being said, please don’t give up! We fully intend on bringing back our beloved Santa Shop event as soon as all our wonderful volunteers and guests can feel confident in safely being together.
Last year your generosity allowed us to give a $50 Meijer gift certificate for every client’s child. The very grateful response was overwhelming for us and the families in need in our community. With the cancellation of our 2020 live event, families did not expect to be able to afford holiday gifts last year. Thank you all for making that happen!
This year we have a couple of ways you can help:
FIRST: We are hoping to raise $10,000 this year to be able to provide $50 Meijer gift cards for 200 children in our community. If you are willing and able to support Santa Shop 2021, we are asking for financial donations through our Santa Shop GoFundMe campaign, located at: go fund me santa shop link.
If mailing a check is more convenient, checks can be made payable to Hospitality House Food Pantry.
Please put Santa Shop in the memo section of your check and mail your donation to:

ATTN: Santa Shop Donation
P.O. Box 284
Walled Lake, MI 48390Please do not send gift cards. We are able to secure a discounted rate by bulk-purchasing gift cards in November for distribution beginning the first week of December.
SECOND: In addition to the gift card(s), we hope to provide a Santa Stocking stuffed with small treats for each child. (Approximately 200). So many of you have called asking for Santa’s elves’ volunteer opportunities, so we have one for you…Any individual, family, or group may commit to any number of filled stockings through our Santa Shop Sign Up Genius (SUG) Account: sign up genius stocking link here You will have the choice of amount and it will be helpful for you to select the type/group (ie. Girls 5-8, or Children 10-12, etc.) This way we can ensure all age groups will be able to have a stocking on Christmas morning.
We have attached gift suggestions to this email, and they are also on the SUG site. We have crafts, hats, mittens, gloves and individually wrapped cookies to supplement the stockings. All stockings must arrive at Hospitality House no later than November 29th as we will begin distribution on December 6th. We will also be happy to pick them up from you if you cannot get to the pantry by then. Email hhsantashop@gmail.com with any questions and/or pick-up requests.
We are grateful for your continued support of Hospitality House and Santa Shop. Without the kindness and generosity of our community, we would not be able to support our community. You are making a difference!
Most Sincerely and with Gratitude on behalf of our Santa Shop Planning Team
